It was a first visit for us to this local theatre, the foyer has a little bar with reasonable selection/pricing with some seating against it's walls, the cosy theatre seats are comfortable but perhaps aren't angled high enough, if you get a tall person sitting in front of you. Parking is on-site but minimal so get there early otherwise street parking is an option but also used by patrons on The Stirling Arms hotel.

One place I recommend you to put on your itinerary when visiting Guildford. Book in for there talented seasonal performances throughout the year is a lovely experience in this cosy heritage theatre...Friendly people, old fashioned hospitality and proactive group... Public transportation by rail or bus....Dine at the Stirling Arms for a meal before a stage play / parking for a top evening!

Lovely little theatre. It usually has small shows happen here that often stars local performers, amazing directors, and backstage crew that put their hearts into the project.

Lovely theatre. We just enjoyed a production of WHEN DAD MARRIED FURY. Very likely the most enjoyable play I've seen this year.An excellent location and very well managed.Thanks Garrick for a great afternoon

I may be biased as I’ve been a member for a little over 7 years now but I genuinely enjoy both seeing the shows and being in them. The stage always starts off as a blank canvas and gets transformed just weeks before the show to look like something completely different. Is always magical to see what the set designers have come up with for each show.

Garrick theatre has been putting on excellent productions since 1932.Beautiful heritage buildingFriendly staffReasonably priced ticketsFree tea and coffee during the intervals.Complimentary sherry/port or fruit juice on arrival from the bar inside

Love this place. A real piece of local history. Not only do we enjoy the performances but there is a wealth of stories behind the various honour boards on the walls. You should see the length of service of some of the office holders. I can't give it 5 stars as the facilities are dated and I don't want to mislead, but I would if I could.
